Research topic: Using tracking data from Antarctic fur seals to identify patterns in their open ocean movements
About: Zac is currently pursuing a Masters of Science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. His research will investigate how Antarctic fur seals navigate in the open ocean through the analysis of varying data sets. Zac hopes to one day use this research and his experience to assist with global conservation of pinnipeds and other marine mammals alike.
In his spare time, Zac enjoys games with his friends, playing pool and photography to name a few things.
